QotD: Groundhog Day
If you had to live one day of your life over and over again, which would you choose?
May 14, 2000. It was Mother's Day and the day I graduated from college. It was just a very happy day that I'd been working towards for 16 years. The weather was beautiful, everything was in bloom as we did our walk across campus, and it was great seeing everyone in their caps and gowns. While I was immensely jealous the graduates a few years later had Jon Stewart as their speaker, ours wasn't too bad and the speech by the selected student was great (he compared our time there to the Wizard of Oz). It was just a wonderful day. :o)
